I am currently in the process of manifesting a trip to Cairo, Egypt. Of course, I intend to see the sights, but my strongest motivation to head to that part of the world is to finally see a man I've known for 6 years but have never seen face-to-face. Every so often, I will post a thought about this trip.
So I have started planning my trip to Cairo. My passport application is in and I am looking for the best prices for my plane ticket. I've been surfing the web looking for sights to see, other than the Sphinx and the pyramids, of course. I talk to my dear friend, Emad, at least once a week to see what he thinks of my ideas and to get whatever input he may have.
I have lists galore that I'm making steady progress in--lists of what to pack, lists of preparations I need to make, lists of things I need to buy. It's so exciting to be making this consistent progress because I know that when I've completed all these things, I'll be ready to go!
And it's all possible because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY :)

Guitar Lady
I love guitar music, especially classical guitar. I know a couple people who've been able to teach themselves how to play, and I think that's so cool!
So I have found the perfect teacher for me; she's patient and happy and willing to let me make mistakes as well as explore different techniques in my playing. I see her once a week for an hour, and I always look forward to my time with her. This is not only because it's such a playful hour, but also because I love practicing throughout the week. I make advances quickly, and before I know it, I have gotten good enough to play in public!
It is so cool that I'm able to indulge more of my musical side, and all because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Back Again
Well, my friends, it's been over 2 months since I've been here, and I'm finally back. I've been into quite a bit of different things, but I'm ready to do some more to create my perfect life!

Birthday!
My birthday is actually in April, but several of my friends have had birthdays lately. So I've decided to celebrate my birthday here on this blog!
So my birthday is approaching, and I've decided to really do it up and include my nearest and dearest friends. I send out invitations a few weeks in advance so they have plenty of time to plan ahead. If they're from far away, I work out the travel arrangements with them, and I pay for it, of course. We will start celebrating in the early afternoon of a Saturday and probably keep it going for several hours after dinner. Of course, for those of my friends with young children, I arrange for activities for them, suitably supervised by well-qualified babysitters.
We start the celebration with a gathering at my home. A wonderful band is there providing excellent music; there is food galore, not to mention my pool (of course!). With the variety of interests represented in my friends, there are running conversations about any of a number of subjects at any given time. It's so fun to keep moving from group to group to see what's being discussed!
In the evening, we move to one of my favorite restaurants: Olive Garden, which I've reserved for the night. Of course, before we go, I offer space in my home for people to shower and change clothes. I have ordered several limousines to get my friends to the restaurant from my house. Of course, we all arrive pretty much at the same time, and the food frenzy begins! I am so pleased with the staff that's present; they really do an excellent job of keeping my friends pampered. I make a note to myself to make sure to include a generous gratuity for the staff along with my final payment to Olive Garden, as they definitely deserve it!
At the end of the day, most of my friends go ahead and leave for home, but a few are so worn out or live far away, so I have rooms prepared for them, either in my house or in the guest house. Of course, there is plenty of food in the morning for them to have breakfast.
What a great way to celebrate my birthday--all that time with my dearest of friends, and all made possible because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Night Time
I tend to be a day person, but I just love being outside at night. Here is a scene I'd like to live out sometime.
So I have a nice, large, covered patio in my back yard. with some comfortable furniture and a pool. Tonight the weather is especially appealing; a nice, cool breeze is blowing softly and I can hear leaves rustling gently. I am dressed for bedtime, but I decide to go on outside and enjoy this serene setting for a while.
I turn on the patio light and take a book with me. There's already a boom box there and I turn on some nice jazz--just the right kind of music to relax to--and set the CD to repeat. I settle into a lounge chair and start to read my book, getting thoroughly immersed in it to the point of losing track of time. After several chapters, I get an urge to get into my pool, and in I dive! It's so refreshing and peaceful at the same time. I just play around in the water and enjoy the breeze blowing against my wet skin.
Finally I decide to get out and go on inside. I head to my bedroom and take a quick shower to rinse myself off. I dry my hair and dress for bed (again!); then I sink under the sheets of my bed, dozing off to sleep ever so easily.
What a wonderful patio I can enjoy this night, not to mention my pool--all because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

A Vist to The East
I have a dear friend who lives in the eastern U.S. I've known him for about a year and a half, and although I've seen pictures as well as viewing him on a webcam, I've never seen him face to face. I will call him "F" in this entry, because I choose to protect his privacy.
So I've decided to fly east to visit F at long last. I purchase the plane tickets and make arrangements for a rental car. F has already said I won't need a hotel because he has plenty of room in his home. As I drive to the airport in Midland, I am so excited because I've dreamed of seeing him for what seems like forever. I have my MP3 player loaded with music because the trip will take several hours--first a flight to Dallas and then a connection to my final destination. F doesn't have a car, so I've already told him not to stress himself about picking me up, as it's easy to obtain a rental car.
Fortunately, my waiting time in Dallas isn't that long--only about an hour, which is just the right amount of time to get from one gate to another. My thoughts are all over the place as I board my second flight; I can barely sit still through its duration, even with my music. When the announcement finally comes that we are approaching the final airport, I can barely stand the wait; and then when we finally land, it's all I can do to keep myself sitting until I'm able to get up and leave the plane.
The luggage claim area as well as rental car section are both easy to find. Before long I'm in a nice vehicle equipped with a GPS system, and I call him just before leaving the airport to let him know I'm on the way. The GPS makes it easy to find his home, and in less than an hour I'm knocking on his door and then grabbed in a wondrous hug!
The next several days are absolutely wonderful. We're able to talk to each other and finally be able to look each other in the eye. We can share laughter and stories and cook together and loads of other things. The time of our visit flies altogether too fast and, before I know it, it's time for my return back to Texas. The beauty of it all is that he doesn't live too terribly far away so we promise that we will see each other soon--definitely within 3-4 months, if not sooner. The day of my return, after another long, scrumptious hug, I reluctantly get into the car and head back to the airport to embark on my return trip.

Home!
My parents have been so generous about the home we live in. They own it and have allowed my children and I to live in it without a single penny's rent for several years. I am so grateful to them for this!
So I've finally been able to buy the home from them and boy, do I have plans for it! I call in a reputable remodeling company first and go over all the modifications I have in mind--redoing the kitchen and one of the bathrooms, as well as installing a really good insulation. We also improve the heating element in each of the bathrooms. We put in new windows--the kind that will open from the top as well as on the side. Then I contact an interior decorator, and this is when the fun really intensifies! We choose new appliances that will last for years and years. We decide on new carpet and curtains, along with furniture for the living room and for all the bedrooms. We also pick out sheets for all the beds. In the front room, we focus on a welcoming theme for any guest that may come through the door. We purchase towels, mats, and a shower curtain for the bathrooms. It's all so much fun, but even when we complete the task, it's really not done, because . . .
I contact a friend of mine who works in a shelter here in town. I ask my friend if she knows of any families who have had a really difficult time and could use a break. Of course, she has a name for me right away, and I find out how to get in contact with them. I am bubbling with excitement, because this will be the very best part! I decide to ask my friend to come with me, since she knows them and will help to make my news for the family more believable. As we travel to the family's location, I let her in on my plan, and even though she is amazed at what I am telling her, she gets just as excited as I am.
We arrive at the family's place--actually, the shelter my friend works at. They are all together, quietly occupying themselves. My friend and I ask them if they'd like to come with us to get something to eat. They're concerned about leaving their things, but I promise them this will not be a problem. My friend assures them they can trust me, and so off we go.
We arrive at the restaurant and I tell them to feel free to order whatever they want. We all make our selections and a waitress takes our order. While we wait for our food to arrive, I spring the news to them: they will be moving into a new home TONIGHT! Of course, they are aghast, and my friend and I are just grinning from ear to ear. I tell them we can stop at some stores after we eat and they can pick out food for their new kitchen and some new clothing, too. When what I say finally sinks in, they are talking excitedly and asking loads of questions. I don't answer most of those questions because I want to let them see the home for themselves.
Needless to say, we all eat our food as quickly as we can because the family is definitely ready to embark on this new adventure. We stop at a department store and we all have loads of fun on the buying spree! We take our bags to the car and drive to their new home.
Oh, the excitement as we enter! They are all super impressed at what they see all throughout the house and my friend and I have smiling muscles that are just about worn down for as happy as this is making us. But then I have one last piece of news for them--that the father and the mother are welcome to come work for me if they'd like, and if I don't have anything that interests them, I will help them find work elsewhere. I tell them we can discuss this detail in a few days.
So, needless to say, I leave their home with my friend feeling totally elated. And I know that there is one less family in misery because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Beautiful Walk
I love to walk. It's so good for me in so many ways--of course, as far as exercise, but also mentally and spiritually. I was walking the other day when I thought of this.
So I decide to develop a portion of my land to make a beautiful walkway, about a mile long. It's a dirt pathway and the surrounding grass is well-groomed and emerald green. I hire a landscaper and give them a generous budget, asking them to include flowers as well as statues and a pond, too. We include things that will attract butterflies and hummingbirds, not to mention bird baths and bird feeders. There are a couple of benches along the way so I can sit and relax if the mood strikes me, as well as a pavilion.
Of course, I'm involved in the planning of this walkway and I am so excited to see it coming together. I just love that this is a gift to myself and that it's being designed to my specifications!
And when my walkway is finally done, I savor every square inch of it as I walk around the pond, knowing that it came to be because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Motorcycle Mama
A looooooong time ago--back in the late 1970's--I learned how to ride a motorcycle. Not "drive" it, mind you, but ride behind the driver. I haven't been able to ride a motorcycle since then, despite a few earnest attempts. And I LOVE riding them!
So I ask a good friend to help me pick out a motorcycle of my own and also teach me how to ride it on my own. They come with me to a good, reputable dealer's and help me pick out a bike that's suitable for me. They take the next little while to help me become a safe driver so I can pass the operator's test. Before long, I really know what I'm doing and successfully get an operator's license! I am just loving being able to hit the road on my bike whenever I please and fully enjoy the experience. I even take my children out on the road with me and show my older son how to drive it, too.
And all this was made possible because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Bath 'n Body Works
I love Bath 'n Body Works. I often just browse through the store in our local mall (Music City Mall in Odessa TX), sniffing the different scents and imagining having all kinds of different, luxurious products in my home, using them regularly.
So I stop into our Bath 'n Body Works with a full intention to have whatever strikes my fancy. I take as much time as I please, checking out the different lotions and shower gels, buying them in any form I please, and even decide to experiment with the shampoos and different aromatherapy items, not to mention the things designed to make my home more inviting. I leave with several bags full of things as well as a wide grin on my face, because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Restaurant
So I'm walking down the street one day and pass by a restaurant that looks incredibly crowded. I get this thought and backtrack with a smile on my face. I walk into the restaurant and ask for either the owner or the manager. A harassed-looking woman comes to the front and identifies herself as the manager. I tell her that I want to pay for all the checks that are open right now; she instantly smiles right back at me and motions to the cashier to total up all the checks that haven't been paid up yet. The cashier gives the total to the manager, who shows it to me. I whip out my debit card, hand it to the cashier.
And before you know it, I'm walking out of the restaurant with an even bigger smile on my face because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Food
I have always liked the idea of helping people who need it. Here is a unique idea.
I have found a huge orchard, full of different kinds of fruit trees--apples, pears, peaches, pecans, you name it. They are all full-grown and are bearing loads of fruit every year. I buy it from the owner at a generous price, along with several acres of surrounding land, and then open it up to anyone who wants to come and get any of the produce. I also hire some people to keep the surrounding land planted with fruit and vegetables--high quality organic, so incredibly healthy as well as delicious. Before I know it, word has traveled and there are loads of people coming. It's so popular that I start similar places in different parts of the country, and then all over the world.
I love how this is helping hundreds of thousands of people, and I can enjoy this giving spree because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

More School :)
I love the school that I work at; they have really taken me in as one of their own. I know many of the staff pretty well and a few have even been socializing with me outside of school hours. Especially in the special ed staff, I have friends that I would easily consider to be family.
So I decide to provide a wonderful catered lunch for the staff. In my experience, I've seen that amounts have been depleted before the last teachers are able to take their lunch breaks, so I make sure that there is more than enough for everyone; if there is too much, that's okay, since staff members are also invited to take things home if they're left at the end of lunch break. I confer with several of the teachers and see what kind of food they'd like to have and even ask a couple of different caterers to work this event--that way there could be a good variety and everyone has something to choose from that they like.
I have so much fun arranging this event, and I can do it because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Catalogs
I love looking through a wide variety of catalogs. Health food, clothing, odds 'n ends, computer-related items, music, DVDs, traveling stuff, vitamins and herbs and essential oils . . . It's just something I like to do and love the idea of being able to buy what interests me.
So I have signed up to receive all kinds of catalogs, even for things that my children would like. I leave them out in our family room and tell the children to mark what they want. Then I get on line and order whatever I feel like getting, along with my childrens' choices. Before long, we start getting packages galore, and we have so much fun going outside our front door because we never know if UPS or FedEx has been by. And all this is possible because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Neighborhood Greenery
Now that the summer is here, of course keeping one's yard properly taken care of is a prime consideration--not just cut but also green. I know that for many people, both of those things can be challenging because of the time and expense required.
So I go up and down the street of my block and tell my neighbors that I am paying someone to keep their yards up for the summer, until October, and I am also paying for whatever extra water is necessary to keep their yard green. I find a person who's willing to do a good job and who has excellent references, and that person keeps our neighborhood looking gorgeous for the entire summer!
And all this is so easy because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Toll Booth
Wouldn't it be so cool to go through a toll booth and pay a couple hundred bucks, telling the person to apply it to the next "whatever number of people" who come through? And THEN give that same person another $100 just because you feel like it?
I can do that because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

The First Domino
Another dream I have is to find a family in need and help them to completely transform their lives. It would go something like this.
I have found a family that is having a lot of challenges and have decided to help them out. The family has a husband and wife and their three children--two teenagers and an eleven-year-old. First I find a suitable place for them to stay and pay all their rent for the first year. We also go shopping and get all the things they need for their home, from sheets to furniture to kitchen items (and food, of course!), not to mention a new wardrobe for each family member. It is so fun to do this, and to listen to the excitement in the childrens' voices! We take a few days to get everything they need, and of course check out some local restaurants and take in a movie or two.
After they are all set up, I contact a good friend of mine who knows exactly how to help people become self-sufficient. He starts working with the parents and their children to develop more confidence in themselves for a few weeks, and then moves to helping them pinpoint their dreams and interests. After this, my friend shows the family how they can have an income based on those dreams and interests, and that's when it gets really exciting! Of course, I check in with the family regularly to see how they're doing, and I love to see the spirit in each person's eyes as they tell me how things are moving along. Needless to say, I get so excited right along with them!
When the family is completely self-sufficient, my only terms for repayment is that each of them do exactly as I have done for them when the time is right. The parents can each do it for a family and each of the children can help a friend, and I will consider the debt repaid--as long as they make the same repayment terms to the people they help. What a marvelous domino effect this will make!
The cool thing is that there is no limit to how many people I can personally do this for because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Skydiving
I have wanted to learn how to skydive for ages. I am so attracted to the idea of free falling all that distance; it's pretty much my idea of total freedom, even if it's only for a few minutes.
So I am taking skydiving lessons with a few good friends who also want to learn. My instructor is really impressed with how well I'm picking up the information and is constantly encouraging me to stretch out my limits a little more, a little more . . . I've finally learned all the stuff I need to know before actually taking the jump, and my friends and I are high up in the airplane, fully outfitted in all the equipment. I'm a little nervous, but at the same time, I am so excited that I can finally do this! And 1--2--3-- I jump out of the high-flying plane, with a helper, and there I go, free falling to the Earth, with loads of air all around me. I close my eyes just for a minute and take in all this incredible energy, just revelling in it. When I open my eyes, I still have a decent amount of falling time before I spring my parachute; my helper cues me to do it and there I am, floating down ever so gently to the earth, and enjoying every single moment.
And I can do this--enjoy the freedom of all that space around me--because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Lazy
I am feeling incredibly lazy today. I just feel like laying around and watching movies and probably getting in some reading, too. I have a special room that's pretty much only for me--a study of sorts. Not too small, not too big. Nice television and blu-ray player, a stereo, desk and comfy recliner and couch. Oh, and a desk and executive chair, too. Of course, a nice selection of movies and music, as well. I just sit in there for the better part of the day in the most comfortable clothes I can find with some comfort food and snacks and just "veg out" for the day. I can do that now and whenever I please because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

World Heroes
I am an abuse survivor. I have started work on an international non-profit organization called World Heroes; its mission is to empower abuse survivors in a large variety of ways.
So I am able to find loads of talented people who can help me in this mission. Some are on my payroll, others are volunteers. We find places to fix up and use as safehouses and offices. We put out the call for professionals to assist these people in any way they need. There is a huge response to our advertisements and we become wildly successful in every way. When a person hears "World Heroes," they know that this is the place to go for assistance if you are being abused in any way.
And World Heroes can attain this kind of reputation because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Garden
I have dabbled at gardening, but I have not done well. I really like the idea of having my own fresh veggies and fruit, especially having them raised organically.
So now that I have all this land, I can cultivate a really great garden. I easily find a gardener that agrees with and is quite accomplished in organic gardening; we discuss the various things I would like to have--green beans, asparagus, cantaloupe, dill and other herbs, broccoli, butter lettuce, leaf lettuce, carrots, celery, cucumbers, strawberries, watermelon . . . I just can't seem to stop! And of course, I definitely want to start growing fruit trees, like peach and cherry trees, and maybe even try a lemon tree, too. And what the heck--we could give grapes a try, too. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
And it turns out beautifully. Of course, the fruit trees don't bear right away, but those are worth waiting for. But in the meantime, I have the pleasure of eating this incredible harvest of ever-so-healthy produce. How luscious it all tastes!
And, needless to say, I can have all this wonderful food and the talented gardener who makes it happen because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Bling Bling
Wouldn't it be so cool to be able to just walk into a jewelry store--a regular one that has a good reputation--and buy whatever attracted me? I buy all the emeralds and rubies my heart desires, and yes, I love emeralds and rubies. They are set in white gold, too; that looks so perfect. And then I leave an extra $10,000 with the owner and tell him or her that they should have a contest and the winner will be able to have a shopping spree. That feels so good! :)
And all this is possible because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Me Time
I've often thought of the ideal "me day." This is just one version of how it would go.
I wake up fully refreshed in my ever-so-comfortable bed. The sun is just starting to come up and there's that wonderful peace that's present just before the day begins. I lounge around in bed for a while and think about all the things that I appreciate so much in my life--what a great way to start the day: feeling SO good!
I get up, dress in my workout clothes, and do some yoga, just quietly stretching my muscles and improving my flexibility. After that I go outside and have a comfortable walk, just breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the beauty all around me. When I'm finished with my walk, I go inside and enjoy some strawberries for breakfast--mmmmmm, so good!
I take a shower, using some wonderful natural products--my soap, shampoo, and lotion are all of the best quality. I feel so fresh afterwards! Then I dress in casual clothing and hop in my car to enjoy a solitary day out. I go shopping, either browsing or purchasing as my inclination moves me to do. I notice that a movie I've wanted to see is playing at a theater where I am, and even better is that it's starting shortly! I buy a ticket and get some snacks and get a great seat in the theater and thoroughly enjoy myself. After the movie I notice that the perfect restaurant is right across the street, so I walk over and order my meal. And what great food, too, not to mention that the ambiance in the restaurant is ideal!
I go walking some more and then see a masseuse's storefront. On a whim, I walk in and ask if I could have an hour's full-body massage, and voila--I can! No waiting, just escorted to a wonderfully prepared room; I disrobe, lay down on the table, and am pampered for the whole hour. I am so glad I came in and asked; now I know a great place to come in the future--what a blessing!
By now, it's starting to get late, but I have a certain restaurant in mind for dinner; as a matter of fact, this is the only thing that I'd planned ahead of time, as I called yesterday to make a reservation. And what a good thing that I picked this place, because their food is excellent: beautifully presented and excellently prepared. What a scrumptious treat :)
And after dinner, I return home and take another walk out around my property, feeling so renewed and reflecting on the fact that I had such a lovely day because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

School
I am a substitute teacher and teacher's aide; I work solely at a local elementary school, either in regular ed, or more often with special ed students. It's a school of about 500-600 students, many of which are in low-income families, and I'm there so often that some of the students think I'm regular staff!
So I go to school one day for no special reason and get into a conversation with the counselor there. She tells me of a student who's from a particularly challenging family situation and it dawns on me that I could help this family out. I ask the counselor what she thinks would be helpful to that family, and I end up writing a long list of needs this family has. I get the fun of going around to the different places, such as utility companies or grocery store or department store and either paying bills up to date or buying groceries or clothes and even purchasing gift cards. The counselor has told me about the children in the family--their interests and their abilities--as well as what the parents like to do and would probably want to have, and based on that information, I end up back in school with loads and loads of packages, bags full of items, and an envelope with several gift cards. I leave these items with the counselor and ask her not to reveal my identity to the family.
And I am able to have all this joy and happiness in giving because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Europe
I have been to Europe a few times while in the Army. I love Europe, with all its opportunities to learn about history and culture, and one of my big dreams is to take my children there for at least a month--and maybe three!--so we can enjoy ourselves at our leisure.
So we start the planning with a fantastic travel agent who's been to Europe and has a huge pool of knowledge about that region of the world. As a matter of fact, our travel agent gets so excited about our trip that we ask if s/he wants to come with us and be our travel guide--all expenses paid by us, of course, plus a generous fee for the time s/he spends in preparation and during the trip. What a great situation! And yes, we have everything we need to make it perfect, including mp4 players to occupy us during the flights to and from. Our tour guide makes the whole thing so interesting and enjoyable, even encouraging us to experience new things that are a part of whatever culture we happen to be in at the moment.
The whole thing is so exciting and mind-stretching, and we can do it because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Choices
I have respect for Western medicine, but there have been many times that I have rued my lack of choices in medical care because me and/or my children have been in Medicaid or involved with the public school system.
So now I'm able to seek medical care in any way I choose--whether it be treatment by herbs and vitamins or using Reiki. Yes, traditional Western medicine is an option when I feel it's appropriate, but most of the time I choose other things. I can use herbs to help my children back to health, or I can find an acupuncturist to overcome whatever health issues we may encounter. I can do this because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Atlanta
My children and I moved here to Odessa, Texas from Atlanta, Georgia. I love Atlanta because there is such a huge variety of things there that I connect with--the farmer's markets, the metaphysical bookstores, the malls . . . I could go on and on. We plan on having a home there one day.
So with the huge abundance in my life, we find an ideal home in the Atlanta metro area--somewhere in an area with a lot of SPACE. We have lots of land surrounding our spacious, airy home with a lake somewhere close--maybe even on our land!--and it is close enough to "civilization" to be comfortable but far enough away so that we know we have privacy. And we have a perfect interior decorator that is able to have our home ready for us to move in after a reasonable amount of time--of course, with an unlimited budget! :)
But that isn't all. Since we have our new Toyota Highlander Hybrid, we travel to Atlanta via the highways and byways at our leisure. We stop wherever we please and stay there as long as we want and do whatever we feel like doing. If we want to shop, we shop. If we feel like being tourists, we tour. If we pass through a town that has a movie that looks good, we stop for the night so we can watch it. If I'd been driving with the sole intention of getting to Atlanta as fast as we could, we would get there in a couple of days. But this way, taking our sweet time, it takes us anywhere from a week to ten days.
And we have fun every inch of the way with no limits because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Car
I have been extremely blessed to have been given two cars. The first one was damaged in an accident; as I was unable to afford to get it fixed, I ended up giving it to some friends who needed it and who could get it fixed. We are now using the second one I received.
So what I'm doing is taking it to a reliable mechanic and having it inspected from head to toe and make sure it's in top-notch condition. We'll have everything repaired that needs repairing and even improve a few things, like the stereo. It will also be detailed. Then we'll find someone who really needs a vehicle and just give it to them. I'm also going to a Toyota dealer and buy the SUV I've been waiting for--a brand new Toyota Highlander Hybrid, in a sparkly cherry red. I can do this because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Snowing :)
Wouldn't it be so cool to go downtown to the top of a tall building late at night and just drop a few thousand dollars' worth of $100 bills? I would love to see the expressions on peoples' faces in the morning when they saw those bills lying on the sidewalk! And I can do it, too, because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

In The Kitchen
I love cooking and baking. If I had a day full of nothing to do, one of my choices to fill it would definitely be playing in the kitchen.
So the cool thing is that I have a large, well-stocked kitchen, with wonderful, long-lasting equipment of the very best quality. My knives are sharp, my stove and oven heat beautifully, my blender and beater are both reliable. I have a great bowl set and a large selection of pans and baking tools, like cookie sheets and the like. I also have loads of time on my hands, not to mention all the ingredients that I need. I have a couple of recipes that I've wanted to try out, and now that I have the time, I can go ahead and experiment because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

Fun!
Something I've done in the past is leave dollar bills of various sizes in stores. For example, I might go to a display of cereal and leave a $1 bill in between two of the boxes, or go to the freezer aisle and leave a $5 bill between a couple of the items. I believe I've even left a $10 bill once or twice. It's always a very playful thing to me and I have fun imagining the person's reaction once they get it (I never hang around to see what happens). I got the idea from a Law of Attraction group on Yahoo, if I'm recalling correctly.
So with my room full of money, I grab a handful of $100 bills and go to the mall, leaving one or two throughout either all or most of the stores. Or I travel to a nearby town and do it at one of the department stores. Before you know it, people are talking and wondering what's going on; then a news reporter catches on to the story and runs an article where she interviews different people who've found those $100 bills. I smile as I watch the article on the local news, because no one knows who the perpetrator is, and I love seeing the reactions of the people and the stories they have to tell. Maybe someone really needed to pay their electricity, or another person hadn't really splurged on themselves in a long time. I like it that I can help these people to think with an abundance consciousness. The cool thing is that no one really knows where these $100 bills will show up--no one but me, because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

New York City
One of my all-time favorite fantasies about spending money is this. My children and I would go to New York City for a week or two and do the whole New York City experience--shopping, restaurants, museums, ballet, opera, concerts, tourist attractions, the whole shebang. We would have an incredible suite to ourselves in a high-class hotel and do room service if we felt like it.
But that wouldn't be the end of it. We would also spend time going to different places that traditionally need money, like homeless shelters, orphanages, and abuse survivor safe houses. We could ask the people in charge of those places how much money they would need to have their organizations up to the standards they wish and simply write out a check for that amount. I could do that so easily, too, because I HAVE A ROOM FULL OF MONEY!

The Beginning
I am being coached by an incredible woman, Sara Exley. Today on our call together, she and I dreamed up a concept that was just so mind-stretching and joyful to me: the idea of having a room full of money. I envisioned stacks and stacks of $100 bills all through this room, and even having a couple windows open and some of those bills being taken up by a breeze and blowing out of the room. The marvelous thing about the wind was that it didn't matter that those bills were gone, because I had loads more in the room. I was talking animatedly about the idea of having so much money in there that I needed to spend or give some away, and then I started thinking about different ways to do that. What an incredibly amazing thought!
Sara suggested that I journal those things that I could do to spend the money in that room. I chimed in that no matter how much I spent, more would come because "you reap what you sow." I love the idea of giving money to people, so that would be a very appropriate concept to apply. Of course, there is also the Law of Attraction: the more you focus on something, the more the Universe does what's needed to bring more of it to you. Well, if I have a room full of money, of course I'd be focusing on it! When I mused that I could blog about my ideas, Sara was all for it and told me about a few other people she knows of who blog on some very positive ideas. She encouraged me to go for it!
So this blog will be just that. I will be writing about the various ways I am spending the money in my room. If you would like, you can add your ideas, too. As the saying goes, "The more, the merrier." That doesn't just apply to money--that also applies to variety of thoughts and viewpoints, too!

So this blog will be just that. I will be writing about the various ways I am spending the money in my room. If you would like, you can add your ideas, too. As the saying goes, "The more, the merrier." That doesn't just apply to money--that also applies to variety of thoughts and viewpoints, too!
